Sorting through books. Where to put them all.

Since moving into my apartment two weeks ago, the one thing that I have been pushing aside is unpacking my books.  I love books. It is clearly an addiction.  The thing is, is before I moved to go to school I sold my bookcases (I needed the money).

Fast forward present,  I have all these books but no bookshelves.
Sorting the books.

So now I have be trying to think a creative ways to utilize the space that I have and all the books, to create a happy place.

Here is what I have come up with.

It's really coming together.  I tried to group books by themes and place them in around complimentary pieces.  Like above, I have the State of Liberty and the books are about New York and architecture.

be inspired. where your are.

New Blog. New Apartment. Same Journey.

New Apartment. First Photo

It has been four (long) months since I graduated from college, the ultra cool Savannah College of Art & Design.  In that time;  I accepted a new job with a brand new Children's Museum handling the Marketing & PR, moved back home and now I have a new apartment.  I feel invigorated and ready to take on the world.

I really have missed being home.  Not just my family and friends but, I love Kansas.  It really is a beautiful state and has a lot to offer, as long as don't let the cynics deter you.

Something I learned in the short few months be home, is you can be happy and inspired by your surrounds in you truly want to be.  That is what be inspired where you are is all about.  Where ever you are, physically, mentally or emotionally it is making that extra effort to to take what you have and be inspired.

Create your own journey.  This blog is to document mine. I want to share my journey and but also I want to hear from other women who are doing the same.  Let us be an inspiration to one another.

A journey is best measured in friends rather than miles,
